| If a child
has a fever or any other symptom of illness, he should NOT be sent to
school. Parents will be required to pick up children who arrive ill
or who become ill during the day. Students must be 24 hours fever
free before returning to the classroom.
It is imperative that emergency phone numbers be provided for each student without exception. If for some reason a child is unable to participate in regular school activities, the school MUST be notified in writing as to the nature of the incapacity and probable duration. If a child suffers from a communicable disease during the school year, the school must have written consent from a medical practitioner or the Health Department in order for the child to be readmitted to class. Some illnesses have time limits set by the Health Department. Contact the school office for more information. |
