Teacher/Student Goals

• Nurture a positive sense of self worth, in relation to how special God has made us.

• Give an opportunity for physical, social, mental, and spiritual growth in group experiences. and with equipment not normally at home.  

• Provide a foundation for later learning through practice in following directions and encouragement in good listening habits.   

• Stimulate eagerness to learn about the wonderful world around us through.

        - learning to know and love God who made all of creation; 
        - learning about number activities;
        - learning about language in oral expression and reading readiness;
        - learning about God's world through nature walks, field trips, and simple
          experiments. 

• Give opportunity for interaction with others of the same age in a Christian environment.  

• Give a sense of achievement at the child's own level of accomplishment.

• Encourage creativity and self-expression through activities in art, music, drama, exercise and sensory play.

• Lead up to the academic Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs offered by Rainier Christian School District.  However, the preschool program however is not a prerequisite to that program.
