 School Uniform Policy for Elementary Students

Please refer below for specific information and note that the uniform policy does not apply to pre-school students. Knit or spandex pants or shorts are not acceptable. Uniform attire can be found at JC Penny, Target, Walmart, The Gap, Lands End, and thrift sores are also a great resource.

UNIFORM GUIDELINES:

• No logos or designs on clothing

• Shoes are at the discretion of the parent, however, they should be appropriate based on the activity the child is involved in. No sandals or open toed shoes are allowed.

• Tennis shoes only on Wednesday and Friday. Girls please wear shorts or long pants.

• Tights and/or socks: uniform colors to match. During cold weather pants are allowed under their skirts for chapel day. No leggings or sweat pants.

• Label everything

• Coats are your choice, however they will not be worn in the classroom during class time.

• Sweatshirts with no logo, the RCS logo or our school logo will be allowed in the classroom. They must be Navy, Red or White.

•  No uniforms on Fridays unless it is a special occasion such as Grandparents Day, Speech meet, etc.

• Chapel attire required on Thursday. Girls in skirt with a blouse, jumper or uniform dress. Boys in Oxford Shirt with pants. Last chapel of the month is no uniform – appropriate chapel attire of your choice.
