Health

We are at high risk of illness by the sheer probability of exposure that occurs whenever groups of children assemble.

Your child may be sent home if any of the following occur:

  • Fever of 101 degrees or higher

  • Lethargic - unable to function in class

  • Diarrhea or vomiting

  • Complaining of pain

  • Symptoms of possible communicable disease are present.

Please call school office if your child does have a communicable disease and we will return the courtesy.

Children may return to school if:

  • Fever has been gone for 24 hours

  • On antibiotic for 12 hours

  • Physician permission

Our general rule is:  A child who is too ill to go outside is too ill to be in school.  The exception is made with a note from a physician.
